Flavor Hive Comes to Metro Motor

This weekend, the D.C. area’s most viral culinary sensation turned up the heat at Metro Motor in Clarendon. We welcomed Flavor Hive to the neighborhood's friendliest auto repair shop for a special pop-up food truck event that brought the community together for fun, food, and flavor.
Flavor Hive’s creative halal menu was the star of the show, offering guests the unique chance to bring their own bag of chips and load them up with delicious toppings. The result? A heaping meal that was anything but ordinary. From tangy sauces to savory bites of chicken, beef, lamb gyro, or falafel, every bag became a one-of-a-kind meal, perfectly personalized to each taste.
Didn't remember to bring a bag of chips? No worries. Many neighbors headed into our fully-stocked convenience store to nab a bag of Doritos, sour cream and onion potato chips, spicy Takis, or other flavor to serve as their base. For those who wanted to elevate the nacho-like experience, rice or loaded fries were available.

To make the event even sweeter, Metro Motor offered 100 meals for free! Neighbors, families, and passersby lined up to join in on the excitement, with plenty of smiles and satisfied appetites to go around. When the news dropped on our social channels, some folks left work early, others got in the car and bolted for Clarendon – a few dropped everything and arrived in their pajamas!
At Metro Motor, we love being part of the communities we serve, and this pop-up was a chance to do just that. We loved bringing people together over great food in the heart of Clarendon. A huge thank you to Flavor Hive for partnering with us and to everyone who came out to enjoy the evening.
Stay tuned for future community events like this one. We can’t wait to see you at the next Metro Motor gathering!
