Metro Motor Celebrates Vienna Collision Center with Ribbon Cutting

Metro Motor officially celebrated the opening of its Vienna collision center with a ribbon cutting this last week, welcoming Town of Vienna officials, community members, local business leaders, and members of the Metro Motor team to 330 Dominion Road NE.

The event, hosted in partnership with the Town of Vienna Economic Development team, marked an important milestone for Metro Motor and a new chapter for a property that has served Vienna’s automotive needs for generations.

It all kicked off with tasty bites and refreshments as guests mingled in the automotive repair bays – avoiding the drizzly weather outside. Linda J. Colbert, mayor of the Town of Vienna, then addressed the gathered crowd, officially welcoming Metro Motor to the community and conveying the town's excitement at having an active, engaging, and supportive new business as a neighbor.

She then passed the mic to Lyndon Grey, Metro Motor's president of business operations, who put the newest collision location into the broader perspective of Metro Motor's expansion across the national capital region, commitment to the community, and pursuit of delivering auto hospitality to drivers in the DMV.

It was then time for the official ribbon cutting. With one quick slice of the oversized gold scissors (and a thoughtful pose for the cameras), Metro Motor was officially open for business in Vienna!

Past, present, and future converge at our newest collision repair facility.

Our collision repair center in Vienna is the former home of Auto Body of Vienna, and Metro Motor’s acquisition of the business allows us to continue that longstanding tradition of collision repair while investing in the facility and expanding the resources available to local drivers.

Metro Motor has invested in property improvements while both retaining and creating skilled employment opportunities, ensuring continued, top-of-the-line collision repair services for Vienna residents and businesses. Our broader network of auto repair shops throughout the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia region, as well as an additional collision repair location, towing fleet, and automotive supply operations, complement this new extension.
