We Gave a Year of Free Vehicle Maintenance to Local Teachers

Metro Motor team member presents check to teacher in front of school

As the back-to-school season officially gets underway, Metro Motor is proud to lend a hand to the hardworking educators who keep our communities strong. This autumn, we’re giving back by providing a year of free vehicle maintenance to a few outstanding teachers across the national capital region.

Each selected teacher will receive a complimentary vehicle care package, valued at over $700, that includes:

  • Oil & Filter Change
  • Tire Rotation
  • Fluid Level Top-Off
  • Air Filter Replacement
  • Wiper Blade Replacement
  • Emissions and/or Safety Inspection
  • Comprehensive Multi-Point Inspection
  • $100 Credit Toward Any Recommended Service

These vehicle maintenance services are among the most common that almost every car, van, or truck needs at least once a year. By supporting deserving teachers in this way, we’re saying thank you to the educators who keep our kids inspired, supported, and learning every day.

We’re helping teachers focus on what matters most.

We know that teachers give their all – often with little recognition and tight resources. Comfortable, safe, and reliable transportation shouldn’t be one more thing for them to worry about. That’s why this initiative is so important to our team.

One of the selected teachers, Rachael Tedesco of Bannockburn Elementary School in Bethesda, Maryland, plans to use the comically-large check we presented for the value of the gift to introduce her students to the relationship between math and money management.

Pablo Moglia, a languages teacher at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia, knew he needed to address some creaky sounds coming from around his tires, but had been putting off a tire rotation and vehicle inspection. Our gift will allow him to get rolling forward again.

Metro Motor is honored to recognize teachers and to help keep their vehicles in tip-top condition for the year ahead. Our expert technicians will ensure these educators’ vehicles stay safe, efficient, and ready for the road.

As a locally-owned and -operated business, Metro Motor remains committed to giving back to the communities we serve in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. Whether it’s supporting schools, sponsoring neighborhood events, or helping those who help others, we’re proud to make a difference one vehicle, and one teacher, at a time.
